Birthday Celebration

My 21st birthday was great.  I went out with a bunch of friends, and we hopped around a few different bars.  I was reasonably drunk for a while, but at some point in the night, things quickly accelerated; the absinthe was still chewing my mind apart the following morning.  It was quite a bit of fun anyway.

Also, my floormates treated me to a very popular HKU tradition: cornering.  I was picked up, and my groin was railed into the edge of an open door as they sang, “happy cornering to you..”

I was a bit shocked, but it was pretty damn hilarious, so I couldn’t help but laugh after it was all over.  Later that day, I saw someone else getting cornered on a tree outside of our residence.

Oh! And, I was treated to cake and a warm meal prepared by my floormates.  They’re good dudes.  All-in-all, a birthday I’ll never forget (or at least the parts that weren’t flooded with absinthe).
