Michael’s Got a Gig!
Today , I was offered a position at Time Out Hong Kong.
Yeahh!!! Since I’ve been in HK, I’ve only had 3 hours of class a week. I’ve been wandering the city to bide my time, and finally, I have an opportunity to give some purpose to all this meandering.
I was given a small writing assignment earlier this week, and I recieved a response very soon after I turned it in. It read:
“Thanks for that. Reads well. I think you’ll be a good fit for Time Out Hong Kong.” The editor went on to say that we’d meet on Monday, and even added, “Have a great weekend.”
Wahoo! I couldn’t be much happier. : )
